Perhaps the most pleasant and rewarding thing about being a member of this community, though, are all of the new and wonderful friends I have made all over the world.
This sunrise was shot in the sleepy fishing village of San Felipe in Baja, California, Mexico. It is the only place that I take sunrise shots in the world as it is one of the most serene places in the world and the sky is free of pollution! Oh yes, I should mention that I am always with a friend who wakes up at 4:00AM like an alarm clock.
