I first saw the lovely island of Sri Lanka in 1986. I was mesmerized by its beauty and the kindness of the Sri Lankan people.It was then that I first saw this incredible sight. When I did a return trip a few years ago, I made certain that I stopped on the western coast of the island. I was thrilled to see that this way of life had not given way to some modern way of fishing.
