Hill Country Heaven
After record drought and high temperatures in 2008 and 2009, June and July of 2010 brought rain . . . and wildflowers! Our backyard grew waist-high with coreopsis and gaillardia, and we hadn’t put out any seed – it had all been lying there dormant on the ground. This is where the scorpions liked to hide!
