ZIA Tangle Sampler
Another Tangle Sampler. Original is 5" x 7"; and I've named it Circles, Squares and Rectangles. Not a very exciting name, huh? It's pretty "busy" but as a sampler, I guess that's not so bad. Anyway, I don't know if I've mentioned it here yet, but I am all paid and scheduled for CZT Training in September and I'm so excited to be able to teach this wonderful art form as soon as I'm certified. I'm practicing practically non-stop. Anyway, here's a list of all the tangles used, in alpha order with the source of the tangle. I truly believe in giving credit to the artists who so inspire me. Circles were drawn using a jigger glass as a template. Center square drawn by tracing a zentangle tile. Other rectangles/partial squares strings are free-hand.
Baton – Carol Ohl
Cadent – Zentangle
Chard – Linda Farmer
Coaster – Carole Ohl
Crescent Moon – Zentangle
Croon and Variations – Margaret Bremner
Cubine – Zentangle
DL Sunray – Donna Hornsby
Feathers – Suzanne McNeil
Florz – Zentangle
Flukes – Zentangle
Gewurz – Linda Farmer (plus a little Ge-Woops; sorry Linda)
Hollibaugh – Zentangle (Molly)
Holey – Karen Ann Young (in the center of Florz)
Moon Rocks and Variations – Suzanne McNeil
Nightbridge – Zentangle
Onamato - Zentangle
Tipple – Zentangle
Other fill – including some crosshatch practice
Hope I didn't forget one. Thanks for looking!
