Checker A11 01
I love a design that lasts.
Especially with cars. I dig cars that were built for ages with no considerable changes. The Checker is one of them. Built to last, built to stay, built to be abused. Heavy duty over form. It stayed there for so many years, that any negative comment about it's reliability must be a joke.
The Checker A11 is one of the last production years, I choose this one for a LEGO thing, because they were least fancy. Just hardcore and not much more. And Travis drove one of them.
It is actually a 100% rebuilt of a model that I did six or seven years back in six wide, before I even dreamed of building in seven, and it was the best Checker I could come up with at that time. Compared to this one, the old car is pure crap... Horrible and as wrong as it can be...
