High Point Monument, Sussex County, NJ
Today the monument was open to climb to the top! So of course I had to do it! It's in sections of 3 flights of steps. 3 or 4 of them had 13 steps x 3. Then it was 12 steps X 3, then 11 steps x 3, then 10 x 3, then 1 or 2 flights of 9 x 3! Lots of steps. The monument is 220 ft tall. You can see into New York state, the Catskills. Plus into PA, the Poconos. And of course NJ, in 2 directions. I decided to play with this photo & ended up using the cyan tone. I like how it looks with a touch of blue.
