Adventures in Film~ Over the hills and far away
A film version of the digital shot below-this is with minimal processing through Lightroom-I'm finding the scanned versions dont look quite the same as what I have here actually printed on lustre paper-they lose a litle warmth and vibrancy so I am trying and experimenting to bring the screen version back as close as possible to the prints
I have been given a film neg scanner but unfortunately its quite old and not in great condition-to buy the necessary software to make it fit my laptop means it would be cheaper to buy a whole new uptodate scanner......a Flickrfriend has given me a recommendation and I may invest as I'm finding film is great fun!

after reading that everyone likes the bright one better'''
Trouble here we arent comparing exactly like to like as film image has had very little post processing and the digital has a Lightroom preset applied which I guess is an unfair comparison and a silly idea of mine to put them together-I've been getting really fedup with my over processed bright coloured stuff and leaning towards a simpler more old fashioned style-but I think our eyes are becoming accustomed to the Hi Def bright coloured modern world ....also as I learnt at my course last week screens need colour calibrating every so ofetn so we are ALL seeing something different to each other on our individual monitors....I will have to ponder on it all some more-meanwhile Im admiring my paper prints which look different altogether !! ha ah a its all most confusing but fun ....
** Thanks all my dear friends for your thoughts and comments its all much appreciated
Im having a difficult time health wise at moment so fiddling with my photos is the only thing keeping me sane ha h a**
