Zombie cake

I made this cake for my daughter's 8th birthday. She loves low budget zombie movies (just like me ! )

and requested a zombie girl cake with a " beetle juice' / goth theme added to to it also.

ALL parts of this cake were edible except some dowels used for structural support.

(And the head stone is cardboard )

zombie girl & brain is rice cereal treat and modeling chocolate & fondant

 

then there are some gumpaste roses ( my first gumpaste flowers that I ever made ,) and fondant eyeballs...cake is covered in MMF fondant.

This is one of the very first 3-D type cakes that I ever made = )

Done
