Old Daihatsu mats
I must have noticed this before when I got these vintage mats on eBay a couple of years ago - at the time I thought they might work in the red Applause but they're too long. They did fit in the Sirion, but they impeded the clutch pedal slightly and I decided to look for tailored ones. Looking at this label again today, I just thought could the 986 mean that these were made in September 1986? And if so what Daihatsu would they have been for? Also can't help wondering who Carol is/was - presumably it was a British factory making these mats back then...
