Normanton Church, Rutland

Normanton Church - previously known as St Matthew's - is a grade II listed building built in the 1820s in classical style. It was to have been demolished as part of the construction of the reservoir (now known as Rutland Water) as it was below water level. In the end, the lower floor was filled with rubble and a concrete floor put in. It's now used as a venue for civil weddings and concerts.
