Fort Meigs - Blockhouse

Double Thick 12x12 Timbers. The Fort had several such blockhouse around the Fort for both observation and firing purposes. The Fort and the Blockhouse were reconstructed by the Ohio Historical Society and opened to the public in 1974 as part of their attempt to preserve some of the

State's historical sites.
