Black or Young Turkey Vulture?
One of two flew a few trees away leaving this one alone and getting restless in my presence.
August 2010.
The Black Vulture's head is dark while the more common Turkey Vulture has a red head; however,
young Turkey Vultures also have black heads until they turn red and can be misidentified.
