Adult Morning Dove
In 2008 a pair of Morning Doves (sort of) built a nest in a small blue spruce tree near our house. Two eggs were laid; however, only one hatchling was ever seen. The adult doves took turns covering the eggs and feeding the hatchlings until they fledged.
