Philip I "the Arab", Roman Emperor, silver antoninianus.

The obverse of a silver provincial tetradrachm, 11.72 grams, struck in Antioch, Syria, in the name of and portraying the Roman emperor, Philip I "the Arab", 244- 249 AD.

Prieur 432 dates this issue to 249. While McAlee 953 (c) dates it to 248- 249. Close enough.
