irene morning after
wanted to get this out there before i go to work, probably not the final edit. -tried to get some wave photos yesterday but the wicked bad blowing spray forced me to wrap and seal my camera and lens in a big zip-lock baggy which made it extremely difficult and not fun to use, not to mention the front element (uv filter) getting lashed with sand and foam etc. i even tried a long exposure in like 40 mile an hour winds which was a ridiculous proposition and yielded hardly even abstract results. anyway this morning seemed much more promising with a 16-20 foot surf forecast and clear skies so i had a much better time at it today and could have stayed out there through the afternoon if i didn't have to go to work. well hope everyone got through it all ok and that you got your internet back, and have a nice day. -Nate
