I often notice the light and shadows that fall in interesting ways. I'm enchanted by such light and the possibilities of what I can do with it. Sometimes, when inspiration strikes, I don't have time or tools or model to act on it but I will tuck the idea away for use on another day. A day like today when all the pieces came together and with some strategic placement of props and application of light I got the shot I imagined .
Incidentally, Marina is quite in love with this portrait of her and the virtual mask or tattoo of light and shadow.
