So here it is. I received a bunch of emails and comments about this portrait which I pulled from my stream last week. Of course when something is taken away it's human nature to want to know what you missed. I pulled it because my daughter felt she looked uh...bitchy. Which she does, but don't we all from time to time. I had her read the comments and then told her she could also go clean her room. She had a change of heart and realized she was making too much of it. She said I could post the portrait again. The original comments are here but the favorites were deleted which happens when you make a public photo private. Thanks all who emailed and commented, I really like this one, for that steel melting gaze.
I can now post this to our daily topic - First World Problems (difficult teens)
This was shot in low light, with incandescent light source at ISO 1600 (no noise reduction applied)
Nikon D7000
Nikkor 55mm 2.8 Micro Ais
Exposure 1/40 sec
Aperture f/2.8
Focal Length 55 mm
