Goldbug for SJB (enlarge for details)

This 1921 Kissel (KisselKar) Speedster, the only '21 remaining, won it's class at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours. Note the wonderful and scary at speed mother-in-law seat that slid out of the body, and there was a twin on the other side. Can you imagine trying to stay attached to the car at speed in '21 roads? Of the 35,000 KisselKars Autos produced between 1907 and it's demise in 1931, about 200 remain. The company also produced trucks (1/2 ton to 6 ton), ambulances and fire trucks. The Speedster, produced between 1919 and 1927 was nicknamed the GoldBug, and was owned by a raft of famous personalities (including Amelia Earhart, Jack Dempsey, Ralph DePalma, Eddie Duchin, Douglas Fairbanks, Greta Garbo, Ruby Keeler, William S. Hart, Al Jolson, Mary Pickford, Fatty Arbuckle and Rudy Vallee.)
