Return to the Abstract on Rolling Art
The superb rear door handle on the previously shown Breathtaking and magnificent 1930 Cadillac V-16, 452 'All Weather Phaeton' (4 door convertible) by Fleetwood, Cadillac's in house custom coachbuilder. A nod to the developing Art Deco movement in Car design, which saw it's peak in France in the late 30s. Fleetwood evidently liked the effect (I agree!!!) as they used it on another Cadillac I will post later. I think it makes a riveting abstract crop......but then I am a tiny bit biased.......
