Aloe arborescens - Gorongosa 3

Here on Mount Gorongosa in Central Mozambique, 1700 m.a.s. Many important medicinal uses (internal use: whole leaves, mixed with honey and a bit of alcohol): controlling hypertension, to reduce side effects of chemotherapy in cancer treatment, anti-inflammatory, pain-killer in many different conditions. Local population in Mozambique uses the pounded leaves (mixed with drinking water) to treat (and prevent) many serious chicken diseases.
