Spinning the Varnish
After making a quick trip across the states of Illinois and Missouri, the Norfolk Southern OCS spun itself around within Ustick Tower's general footprint, using the ASB Bridge as it's south tail track. This was running as NS Train 953.
This train had begun in Detroit, and started the day in Decatur, IL, with an 0600 call time for the crew. This was just about the last act for the the crew on this day before calling it quits on what seemed to be a successful day.
Regarding this location, I was here with permission and accompaniment from RR personnel. I wouldn't try this on my own.
