Wedding Break Snow Sniping!
I took a quick trip up to Iowa City for a wedding this weekend, and while the wedding party was off taking photos after the service, we had a bit of time to kill, so of course my first instinct was to go railfanning.
Fortunately, the Iowa Interstate's BICB was rolling through Coralville just as we settled in at the hotel, so I was happy to follow it west on US 6 for a bit. Here, it's pulling up to the Yocum Connection at South Amana, IA in a light snowfall, just about 15 minutes before "sunset."
The power for the train this day was the 503, 715, and the 505. Even if they're trailing, it's nice to see the 38's out on the road these days.
