20-Unit Funeral Train to KC
This evening, BNSF's Tulsa-Kansas City manifest (H-TULKCK) rolled into the Kansas City area with a MASSIVE consist, although most of the 20 units were running DIT.
These units had been in storage in Galveston, TX, and have been sold to a number of outlets. I was expecting the train to roll down the Olathe connection track towards the Emporia Sub, but imagine my surprise when I saw it continuing north on the Ft. Scott... Words were had. After I got skunked there, I caught up with it again in Merriam, and at least managed something that was passable.
