Two Cabooses? OK.
On Tuesday afternoon, I photographed UP's LMC40 working the BNSF interchange in Topeka with not just one, but TWO cabooses in the consist! These two cars have both been working in Topeka for a while now, but this is the first that I've seen them together. They are the UP 25881 and MP 13832. From what I understand, the two cabooses are together as a result of "securement rules" that relate to leaving a single piece of equipment on the mainline.
Also of note is the recently-repainted GP38-2, no. 502, which was repainted at North Little Rock on July 25th, 2019. Especially compared to its photos from before the repainting, it looks great!
