Monticello-bound IC Diner
This afternoon, once I decided that watching the Bears game was a lost cause, I decided to make the rounds here in Topeka, KS to see if there was anything going on. With the BNSF quiet, I ran up north to find the UP relatively busy, and I wasn't at all upset with what I came away with.
The first thing that I came across was this is IC Diner that UP's MNPKC would eventually drop off in the yard. According to the trace, its destined for Block 222 (NS' Avondale Yard in KC), so I'm thinking that it'll end up on the M-TPNS in the next day or so. This is the RPCX 4110.I've seen on RRPA that this car had been in Commerce, CA and is headed to the Monticello Railway Museum in IL to join their collection of IC equipment. Good to see it heading to a good home!
