1960's Brightlingsea Aerial images from Alf Jefferies repaired by Brian Tuley 2021

Click to zoom in. This shot shows how much has been built on the old Manor and the lowland marshes over the last c60 years in Brightlingsea, Essex. Lower Park Road was devoid of homes on the marsh side with only the old Crab & Winkle line train station built on a rise. Gandergoose Creek ran beside the line down over the road to Gandergoose Green, the central reservation on Station Road opposite the Railway Tavern and Community Center.
