Garrick's Temple To Shakespeare: Hampton Riverside
I think that this is one of the most idyllic views on the Thames.
It would have been the garden of David Garrick's villa which is across Hampton Court Road, (in October 2008 it was badly damaged by a fire and has been recently restored.)
Grade I listed. Circa 1765. Octagonal brick structure with lead dome. On east front an Ionic portico 8 columns wide, 3 columns deep. On west side a projection with lead dome. Arched windows to ground floor. Once held Ronbilliac's statue of Shakespeare British Listed Buildings
