Granule

Granulation, a technique of particle enlargement by agglomeration, is one of the most significant unit operations in the production of pharmaceutical dosage forms, mostly tablets and capsules. During the granulation process, small fine or coarse particles are converted into large agglomerates which are called "granules".

These are multivitamins, aka "granules", that have been produced by the process of agglomeration.

Granule, in pharmaceutical terms, small particles gathered into a larger, permanent aggregate in which the original particles can still be identified
