Stained Glass picture - finished end Dec. 2021
View large for more delicate details.
I finally finished my first stained glass project but need to photograph it again once it is sited in a light-box frame with LED lighting background. Then the colours will show up much better.
I may re-post a fresh photo when the light-box frame is added.
I hope to start a new larger project around 50cm x 50cm or 40cm x 40cm using another method which requires only one piece of glass and no lead but that is an even more complex way of colouring an image so it will take some time under the watchful eye and help from my expert friend. This other method will save me having to cut glass, which has become difficult, so 'Out of the pan and into the fire' - as they say.
Update1:
My intended next glass project has been cancelled indefinitely due to strain in my arms and hands.
Update 2: Feb 30 2024
Due to the continual worsening of my general physical condition, I am unable to commence any further glass work. This glass picture is now regrettably only one of a kind from me as further work can not be undertaken or repeated.
However, I still hope to recommence painting when I am able to if my overall health improves.
Thanks to everyone who has shown an interest in my work.
Best wishes.
Patrick
