White-Throated Kingfisher
….Kingfisher..Well people it has been raining since morning..thus my load of patients was less..at my usual time(lunch break)..fixed my kowa to my tripod..and covered it with my bin bag..asked my staff to check in my small bag..if the umbrella was there..i had asked my brewery to get me one from the supermarket..(he has been birding for the last two years with me and i know he will get me a dull coloured one..)..staff said o.k. Doc there is one ..so off i went to my patch..just 50yrd away parked my car..and saw a huge crowd of about 100 people(kids,Ladies and children..in their colourefull atire)..in th temple..oh my ..there must be prays ..to-day..as i got out of the car..a group of these people caming running carrying umbrellas..just as they reached me..i looked up at the tree above the temple..the White-throated kingfisher was setting on a clear branch..quickly i stopped them with my hand up raised took out my tripod and ?grouped( .. ) in my bag..and quicky took my new umbrella.(wanted to impress them ..one button press..which open's the thing.. )..with out looking at the umbrella i pressed the stud..out opened a parsol..with shocking pink colour with orange spots and all round the parsol..2 inch lace..shocking yellow....there a gasp from the crowd..silence..then this Low down,Dirty laughing Hyena..laughed with his Kak,Kak..Kak....the whole crowed gave howl and collopsed laughing..(ladies were seen wiping their eyes and falling like 9 pins..GRr)..gathering my diganety with a wide brave smile i trotted off to my patch..the mud was up to my ankle..every step..i slipped but bravely carring the stupid parsol over my head while my sat up was covered by my bin bag...reached the shad..(a chap..leaves his cows there at night..)..after some time..there was another loud laugh from the laughing hyena..peeped saw him setting on a dead tree just behind the shad..the rain had stopped..slowly creeped forward and got the Dirty,low down..Hye...he saw me and off he went but my laughter followed him..got you my low down..laughing...please now dont you'll wipe his beak clean people..lol...but i am sure you'll will laugh with him..regards and thanks..
