‘Portrait of Aunt Lelia’
I created this portrait of my great Aunt Lelia as she looked back in the 1960s when she was on a worldwide trip with my grandmother Enid (her sister). Lelia still had her vibrant glowing red hair while on that trip abroad. Several years later I stayed with my Aunt Lelia for a few weeks when she lived in Miami and several months later I accompanied her on one of her world trips to many foreign countries.
