Swimming and Isometrics

I have upped my swimming on my pool days to two miles (70 lengths/35 laps) in hopes that I will reach 100 miles in 2017 by the end of the year. I haven't swam this much since I was in my twenties. I believe swimming is the ideal exercise for us older folks... if you have a year-round pool like the Olympic size noncongested community pool I use. Note: Since July I do cheat. I use a snorkel and fins which helps with the deep breathing which is good on the heart!
