Banking sector in Moldova

In the last two months of 2009 there was a somewhat moderate decrease in interest rates on bank credits in national and foreign currency (Chart 14). In December the volume of credits in national currency increased 41.6% month-on-month, while foreign currency denominated-credits almost doubled.
