Kuna

Kuna is a 2 and 1/2 year old male.

Sharon Dewar of the San Diego Zoo tells me:

Koalas are arboreal marsupials that live in eucalyptus trees in Australia. They are not very active animals, as they spend 18 to 20 hours each day resting and sleeping, however, they are social animals who live in territories. Although they are commonly called koala bears. They are not bears. Their closest relative is actually the wombat. (Their closest North American relative is the opossum).
