NGC 1909 Witch Head Nebula

A new target for me. From my north-facing balcony location, I have a five-hour window to shoot this nebula before it disappears behind my roofline. The image is composed of RGB data captured with my monochrome camera -- about 5 hours through each filter.

From Wiki: NGC 1909 is an extremely faint (apparent magnitude 13) reflection nebula believed to be an ancient supernova remnant or gas cloud illuminated by nearby supergiant star Rigel in the constellation of Orion. The nebula lies in the Eridanus Constellation, about 1000 light-years from Earth.

There are a number of galaxies in the image. Most of them along the LH edge. I particularly like the barred spiral, NGC 1720. I'm surprised that the structure shows up as well as it does.
