Iris Nebula - NGC 7023

The Iris Nebula is a reflection nebula in the constellation Cepheus, illuminated by the magnitude +7.4 star designated SAO 19158.

 

The nebula is 1,300 ly from earth and is approximately 6 ly in diameter.
