Peering in and out of the stratified shadows, the pumpkin colored soldiers reflect the setting sun sharply. Water splashes the banks adjacent, swirling and eddying before pushing downstream. The line of alumimum warriors slink left, then right. Diesel and soot line the air as two more pumpkin soliders toil away. The nearly endless line sweeps behind the horizon. A snippet in time, gone in the sense of reality, but captured in our mind.
