The prompt was Protection. But, when I saw Sassenach's photo of her dogs I immediately knew this was the only subject matter that I could use. But, mine is more of LACK of Protection. My dogs would not save me from anything but loneliness. If I were a burglar they would greet me at the dog with tails wagging and hope that I took enough time to put down the flatscreen to give them treats from the treat jar.
I'm a little hard on them...they do bark like crazy dogs when I am in the house and someone comes to the door. Maybe they recognize my steps,because when I walk up to my home or get dropped off by a friend....Silence.
But, if I wanted protection I would have a couple of dobermans.;o)
In this picture they are watching the strange guy walking up the street with a beer in his hand on his way to a neighbors house. He He.
