All For Not No.1
After three days in a row of winds that exceeding the maximum limits and caused one or both of the races to be cancelled each day, this afternoon was the complete opposite. Emirates Team New Zealand seemed to have the first race won, expect for one small problem...they weren't going fast enough. One of the rules is that the course has to be completed within a 40 minute time limit. After hitting the final mark and leading by 1,600 meters, and with just scant meters to go to secure the win, the race was abandoned as the clock hit the 40:00 point. Much to the dismay of Kiwis around the world, Oracle Team USA won the second race...one more day for the Cup on American soil.
