Nuovo Mundo - New World
While I am certain that this gentleman is quite a skilled sailor, some around me were questioning his sanity being out in such strong winds in such a small boat. Winds at the time I took this shot were blowing a good 25 knots and were gradually increasing, which is why the America's Cup racing for the afternoon wound up being cancelled. By the time the second race had been cancelled and I got back to my car at Crissy Field, the winds were more in the 35 knot range and sand from the beach was blowing around and pelting everyone and made a mess of all the cars parked there.
Camera: Canon EOS 40D
Lens: Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM w/Canon 1.4x @189mm
