Me flying offshore...
A self-portrait I took while I'm about 100 miles off the Louisiana shore in the Gulf of Mexico. At the time, I was flying what is called a "Loop Job" and spent most of my 14 day hitch living on, and working from, a platform that was 95 nautical miles offshore in the East Cameron area...East Cam 318 to be exact. I was working for Air Logistics at the time and flying a Bell 206BIII JetRanger.
Yes, I am wearing my US Air Force ballcap!
Sorry for the low quality of the photo, but it was taken with my cell phone, a Motorola Razor at the time.
