Rosie No.3
Since getting set up to shoot weddings on MF film again, I wanted to play with the lenses that I got for my Mamiya 645 Pro TL without the expense of shooting film. Recently, I picked up a Fotodiox Pro adapter to mount my Mamiya lenses on my Canon 6D. The adapter is programmable with the focal length and f/stop of the lens. The Dandelion chip in the adapter is compatible with the focusing system of the camera and will give you the appropriate in-camera focus indication. The only thing that I see is a glitch with the focal length indication of the lens in the EXIF data.
This is a shot of Rosie as she was drifting in and out of one of her naps on the couch. I have a feeling that she prefers that I don't interrupt her sleep with my picture taking endeavors. Rosie is a rescue from the Marin Humane Society. If you are looking to get a cat (or any other pet), please go to your local rescue or Humane Society and do not support the kitty and puppy mills. All four of my pets are rescues and I couldn't be happier!
Camera: Canon EOS 6D
Lens: Mamiya 150mm f/2.8 A with Fotodiox Pro adapter
Exposure: 1/80 sec @ f/2.8 ISO2500
Lighting: A table lamp off-camera right and another table lamp directly behind and slightly above Rosie.
