13-52: labelling
Dave: Eva, What's with the sticky note?
Eva: Oh, just following protocol.
Dave: And what protocol is that?
Eva: The whole labelling things as "keep" vs "away".
Dave: You do realize that is just for stuff we're sorting as we need to clean out the basement for a renovation?
Eva: I do. But, I spend a lot of time with you in your basement office and I thought it would be safer to label me as a "keep".
Dave: Um, that's totally unnecessary. You are definitely a keep.
Eva: Thank goodness. I have it pretty good here. Some people describe me as a dog with sophisticated needs. And some people as willing to indulge my sophisticated needs as you are.
Dave: Well, you definitely are a keep. Now, have you seen Aggie and Bruno lately?
Eva: Yup. But you should know something. I made up labels for them too.
Dave: And what did you label them as? Keep or away?
Eva: Well, there are two things to remember. Firstly I'm pretty sure that Bruno can't read.
Dave: And the second thing?
Eva: I should have mentioned that you are both kind and forgiving. So, with that in mind I've gotta go and remove some labels from Bruno and Agnes before you see them next!
--------
We are getting ready for a basement renovation. Which is an opportunity to review if we still need some of the items that have been filling the basement. It's also a hassle as there are a lot of things in a basement.
The whole family has been working hard on this. Eva is the most adaptable of the dogs and has been by my side throughout the process. Aggie however does not like change so have been avoiding the job by napping on the king size bed. Bruno just likes napping so he's been up there too.
And as a follow-up to last week I did manage to sort and process over 12,000 photos from last week's speedskate championships in Saskatoon. Now to just figure out how to best configure the club page on photoshelter.
