19-52: Mayanuary

Eva: Dave, what's going on here?

Dave: We're out for a walk in the park on a path that you've walked hundreds of times before.

Eva: That I know. It just doesn't feel right.

Dave: Ah, it's a solo walk. That feeling is the feeling of peace without the blondes acting like fools.

Eva: No, it's not the calm that I was asking about. I'm wondering about the weather. I thought it was spring.

Dave: It was. Shorts and t-shirt weather yesterday followed by snow this morning.

Eva: Trust me, I'm aware that you overcommitted to spring. You even got me my spring shave/haircut a couple of days ago. And my new hair do is making it even chillier than expected for Mayanuary.

Dave: Mayanuary? There's no month called Mayanuary.

Eva: There is now. It's the month when spring suddenly leaves to be replaced by winter.

Dave: Wow. I can't tell if that is crazy or insightful.

Eva: I'm always a bit of both. Now my next insight is that the only way to properly deal with the Mayanuary blues is to eat bacon and eggs. This path is cold on my recently shaved tush so let's get home so you can start cooking!

Five days ago Eva got her spring shave as her winter coat was a bit ridiculous and scraggly. We were going to head to the cabin this weekend but with Mayanuary in full effect we decided to stay home and just relax around the house.

Here you can see her spring shave. For some reason she always ends up with the batman logo shaved into her chest, but within a week or two the logo will disappear.
