Canadian Contractor Augmentation Program (CANCAP) employee and Clothing Stores Warehouse Supervisor, Mr. Nathan Brown reviews the clothing documents of incoming Canadian Forces Personnel to ensure that they receive all the proper clothing and equipment required to do their jobs.

 

Task Force Kandahar’s National Support Element provides all of logistical needs for the Canadian Forces mission in Afghanistan. This includes, but is not limited to, providing weapons, operational equipment and clothing to personnel arriving in the theatre of operations.

 

Operation ATHENA is Canada’s participation in the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan. The mission of Task Force Kandahar, the Canadian-led brigade in ISAF Regional Command (South), is to set the right conditions for sustainable progress in security, governance, development and peace in the districts of Panjwa'i, Dand and Daman in Kandahar Province, in conjunction with the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the Afghan national security forces, and other coalition and civilian partners.
