Bo Jerome Battle is my sixth subject for this project. I met Bo on Jackson Square in New Orleans. He was one of the street performers who paint themselves silver and sit immobile. I had passed him once and didn't say anything, but when we passed him a second time, he was helping a woman with her bike. I introduced myself and told him of this project. He was happy to pose. Bo has always lived in New Orleans and has been performing like this in Jackson Square and in many local parades for five years now. He is happy to share the spirit of New Orleans. Nice to meet you, Bo!
