Lightning rifle
The lightning rifle became the main armament of the Moonbase Milita's ground forces since the first public colonisation in 3014. It is mainly used as it can melt layers off armor and electrocute the occupants, while disipating on impact with tougher armors like those found on mechs and the bases themselves.
It was later removed from service when, after years of continous use against rebels, it was found to have some negative effects on the user.
