Ford Escort Mk4 1.6 L (5 spd)
I've been aware of this one for a while, but was surprised to see the last MOT expired in October '08 as it always looked quite well tended to. In fact the Google Street View Image shows it looking very well polished in June 2009.
It would seem likely that an elderly owner has had to give up driving, although perhaps continued to look after the car while they were still able. Sadly their former pride and joy is now looking rather moss covered / neglected. Probably an uncertain future for this one.
