Corosion

 

My Inspiration for this work came about by playing with some grass tree resin and enamel paint. I wanted to see how they would react together. I absolutely love the resin affect with the paint. These pictures look like rivers of corrosive rust peeling away the blue paint leaving behind the original white of something that was new. It leaves patches of rusted metal blistering in the sun causing streams of oxidization to form. Rusting away and exposing how fragile our earth is.
