For 52 of Twenty Eleven
My inspiration for this image came from a an old cookbook that belonged to someone very special to me...my grandma. I have many fond memories of lunch dates at her home. I could always count on being greeted at the door with a warm hug and a "hello darling." She would have lovingly prepared lunch and we would visit...just be together. She passed away in 2001, and I miss her very much. I keep her old, worn Blue Ribbon Cookbook as a reminder of those moments we spent together. My favourite pages are the ones with her hand-written recipes...it's like I still have a part of her with me.
